MUSIC lovers were treated to seven hours of live bands at this year's Live 'Eath rock festival.
Eight acts played to hundreds of revellers at a sun-kissed Heath Rugby Union Club, all in aid of charity.
Organiser Jim Farrell, who was also behind Calderdale's Spudstock festivals, said: "It's been a tremendous day.
"You can't buy good weather and the sun shining today was what we really hoped for.
"It's definitely brought a few more people out and I think they're having an excellent time."
There was an Irish feel to the event, the second Live 'Eath, with bands including The McCarrens, The Mouldy Joes and Giant's Causeway.
An audience from babies to pensioners watched from deckchairs and picnic blankets.
Camilla Long, 16, of Saviile Park, said: "It's been such a good day. The bands were brilliant and it makes it more enjoyable knowing it's all for a good cause."
Money raised will go to Friends of Ravenscliffe High, Calderdale's only specialist secondary school for children with learning difficulties.
It is hoped the cash will help to build a special interactive science facility.
