Businesses across the borough have been hit by the floods caused by Storm Ciara, including several at Dean Clough, who launched a massive clean-up operation on Sunday to help those affected get back to work.
Firms at the Lee Bridge Industrial Estate next to Dean Clough were also flooded, including the 1904 Pub, and Dean Clough expressed its sympathies with those neighbouring companies affected.

In a statement, Dean Clough said: “The flooding on Sunday was a devastating event for Halifax and the wider Calder Valley and it’s truly heartbreaking to see so many people and businesses affected by these calamitous events once again.
“Unfortunately Dean Clough suffered some flooding, but with the help of so many of our long standing contractors, customers and team, all but one of the 150 businesses on site are operational again.
“However, we appreciate that others across the Calder Valley have not been so lucky.
