Calderdale Council has confirmed that staff have been out across the borough in anticipation of the rain.
A spokesperson said: "Heavy rain is expected tomorrow and throughout the rest of the week.
"Although we do not have another weather warning here until Friday/Saturday, the ground remains saturated so it's possible that rivers and drainage systems could respond sooner - although it's impossible to know for certain at this stage.

"It's impossible to predict the extent to which we will be impacted by this week's weather but please be prepared and remain vigilant just in case."
