Car fire in Boothtown spreads to houses
Crews from Halifax were initially called to reports that a Peugeot 405 was on fire at 2am. En route they were told that the fire had spread to two houses adjacent to where the car was parked.
When crews arrived they used two hose reels, breathing apparatus and dry powder to deal with the car fire. Their quick actions meant that only minor damage was done to windows in both properties, whilst one front door was completely destroyed.
