Shoppers to help out small businesses
The national intiative is a move to boost local economies and the profits of smaller shopowners who are sometimes overlooked for national chains.
Small Business Saturday was first launched in the United States last year and created £3.5 billion in sales to small businesses.

So take a trip to the town centre to support the initiative, buy your meat from a local butcher or try out onw of these local markets.
