The Covid 19 Crisis has created many obstacles to the charity sector one of the RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield & Bradford Branch’s most popular events – the K9 Party in the Park – has had to convert from an outdoor event to a virtual fun dog show, which will be live streamed to viewers homes.
The local RSPCA Branch were devastated to cancel their summer fundraising events due to the Covid-19 Crisis which hit the country back in March.

Fay Gibbons, Digital Fundraiser said: “Our K9 Party In The Park is an event we look forward to holding every year and we had so much planned for this year’s 20th anniversary.
"The event isn’t just a dog show to us, it’s a chance to celebrate how much our canine companions mean to us and to meet up with our incredible supporters to have a day of fun and celebrations."
The move to put the event online comes after animal charities across Calderdale made a plea to the public in a bid for donations.

The dog show classes will include old favourites such as ‘puppy love’, ‘waggest tail’ and ‘eyes that melt your heart’ with all winning entries announced during the charity’s live Facebook stream from 12pm on July 5th.
“The day will be exactly what it says it is – a party.
"We hope all of our supporters will tune in to join the fun and hold their own K9 Party in their homes.’’
Entries cost just £2 and all the details of how to enter will be on the Branch’s website: www.rspcahalifaxhuddersfieldbradford.org.uk
