Halifax RSPCA calls on all to join fitness fundraising challenge
For those who want to get back into shape or would like to set themselves a personal goal, this challenge involves completing 26.2 miles throughout the month of June by either running, walking or cycling at your own pace.
To motivate and add some competition to your challenge, the branch also encourages getting family and friends to sponsor you to raise much needed funds for the animals currently in their centre during the Covid-19 pandemic.

It’s a great way to get active and also support and raise funds for the animals who have been with us during Lockdown’’
All participants who raise over £20 in sponsorship will receive an official medal for their achievement and can easily set up their own fundraising page on JustGiving or get in touch with the Branch for a sponsor form.
The challenge has already had its first participant in the form of Max – one of the current residents at the Animal Centre who will be putting his best Paw Forward to cover the 26.2 miles on his daily walks over the next month.
So if you don’t want to take on the challenge yourself, you can support Max with his by visiting www.justgiving.com/campaign/bestpawforward
