Mytholmroyd gears up for arts festival
The exhibition − which also features an ‘Artists of the Future’ display by children from The Ark Nursery − opens from 6pm to 9pm on Friday, October 14, continuing on Saturday between 10am to 4pm, with prize winners announced at 3pm.
Thanks to the generous support of Thomson Reuters, entrants from participating schools Scout Road Academy and Calder High will compete for top prizes of £25 for primary pupils and £50 for secondary pupils.

Hide AdThomson Reuters’ £500 donation has enabled the Festival to award a range of judges’ prizes across age groups.
There will also be a People’s Vote by exhibition visitors, which will close at 2pm on Saturday, October 15.
The winning piece will be framed by the sponsor of the People’s Vote, Abacus Picture Framing.
