Man in court accused of sex offences
Former Elland man Alan Harris, 71, has pleaded not guilty to a series of allegations relating to offences against two female complainants.
A jury at Bradford Crown Court heard yesterday that the majority of the charges related to the same complainant and included allegations of indecent assault, indecency with a child and one charge of rape.

Hide AdHarris, of Waterloo Road, Brighouse, faces a separate allegation of indecent assault relating to a second complainant who was 15 at the time.
Prosecutor Nikki Peers told the jury that the main complainant, who was allegedly abused from the age of 11, did not report the allegations to the police until December 2011.
Harris was arrested in February last year and during his police interviews he denied raping the main complainant or touching her inappropriately.
He also denied sexually touching the second complainant.
The trial is expected to last about four or five days.
