Hospital worker accused of faking cancer
Laura Tyreman had allegedly written ‘cancer’ on a sick leave application more than a dozen times after telling colleagues that she had ‘Acute Myeloid Leukaemia’.
Tyreman said she was having bone biopsies and chemotherapy to treat the savage blood cancer disease between January 2011 and August 2015.

Tyreman finally revealed to the trust that she did not have cancer when she was rumbled by hospital bosses on August 17, 2015.
The radiographer allegedly also told co-worker that she needed time off work because she had contracted an infection following a bone marrow biopsy.
The Health and Care Professions Tribunals Council is expected to begin the four day hearing on Monday, May 22.
