A CAR flipped over on a steep driveway after the driver's foot slipped off the brake.
Halifax and Elland firefighters had to free the 78-year-old woman but who escaped serious injury and suffered some cuts and bruises.

Halifax watch manager Paul Wilson said the woman was reversing her car up the steep curving driveway.

As she reached the top, her foot slipped and the car careered downhill and clipped part of the driveway which caused it to flip over.

The accident happened on Willow Hall Drive, Sowerby Bridge, at 8.45am today.

Paramedics also attended but the woman did not need to go to hospital and was treated at the scene.

The garage was badly damaged.
