I HAVE just read your article "Chief told of school fears" where it says: "Holy Trin-ity, which has more than 1,000 pupils, is due to close in 2010 and an academy will be built..."
I was under the impression that talks about this academy were still taking place to decide if an academy should be built. Reading this article it seems to be cut and dried decision-wise, so what is the good of holding meetings?

To lose a faith school in Halifax will be a great loss to all.

It would be nice to have a proper answer as to whether we are or are not to have an academy, which is not everyone's choice.

An academy maynot be everyone's choice, but neither is a "faith" school. Another point for consideration is how many of the parents of these 1000 children still practice this "faith" now they have got their child into this school???
