Congrats to young performers

TOO often in your columns we read about mindless teenagers wreaking havoc around the district and sometimes it is difficult to remember they only represent a minority.
We were reminded of this when we attended the Calder Valley Youth Theatre's production of the musical Les Miserables at Halifax Playhouse.
What a wonderful show these young people put on and the quality of performance of those who took the role of the lead characters was absolutely magnificent and the cast fully deserved the standing ovation they received.
The whole production was very professional and having seem this musical many time it would have graced a London stage
