HALIFAX Irish's bid to become the first team to win the Joseph Fee Memorial Trophy for a fourth successive time looks unlikely to come unstuck in this season's second round.
The Pennine League champions, whose Premier Division game at Queensbury on Saturday was postponed, were paired with lowly Division Two side Boothtown Terriers in Monday's draw.

There should be an interesting contest at Greetland Community Centre w
here Steve Taylor's Elland tackle much improved Siddal A while Brighouse Rangers' reward for a narrow win away to King Cross Park is a trip to Greetland, who crushed Stainland Stags in the last round.

Illingworth will be pleased to have home advantage for what looks a tough assignment against Premier Division outfit Keighley Albion.

In the Supplementary Cup, King Cross Park A have drawn the short straw - a clash with Division Five leaders West Craven Warriors.

Warriors' potential title rivals Siddal B and Elland A will be confident of progress, although both must travel.

Joseph Fee Memorial Trophy round two: Boothtown Terriers v Halifax Irish, Elland v Siddal A, Greetland All Rounders v Brighouse Rangers, Illingworth v Keighley Albion.

Halifax ARL Supplemenary Cup round two: Brighouse Rangers A v Keighley Pumas, Cowling Harlequins v Siddal B, Greetland All Rounders A v Elland A, King Cross Park A v West Craven Warriors .

Ties on Saturday, January 10.
