HEBDEN Royd Red Star Reserves and Shelf United Reserves remained on course for another final showdown when both won in the third round.
Red Star were pushed harder than expected by Ryburn United Reserves, edging through 4-3, while the Shelf side they beat in last season's final had an excellent 4-1 win away to a Sowerby Bridge Reserves side going great guns in Division Three.
Siddal Athletic Reserves justified favouritism to beat Calder '76 Reserves 6-1.
