OLD Brods under 11s travelled to Hull to take on the hosts and Doncaster.
The first game against Doncaster saw Brods muster just 11 men but they still finished up winning 14-12.

Doncaster went straight onto the attack and it needed some good defensive play to keep them out before a good run by Cole Wilson saw him tackle
d short of the try line.

Jim Hodkinson at scrum-half started giving the Old Brods backs some good service as Harry Dunne, Oliver Butterworth and George Ayrton began to really test the Doncaster defence.

A break by full-back Butterworth exposed a gap in the defence and he steamed from the halfway line for a try which he also converted.

Further pressure on the Doncaster defence led to a mistake that Dunne took full advantage of to score.

Doncaster hit back with a converted try, but Brods looked comfortable as the clock ticked down to full time and not even another converted try following a defensive error could overturn the outcome.

Brods followed that up with a 28-12 win over Ionians.

Early pressure was rewarded when Chadwick charged over, Hodkinson converting.

Ionians levelled immediately before Dunne drove over the line to score.

Ionians started making some ground but they again found themselves in trouble as the Old Brods pack gained the advantage and Wilson went over to score.

Brods comprehensively dominated the game with Luke Chadwick storming over for George Ayrton to kick the final conversion.
